As we continue to monitor global developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), our priority at Legacy IVF remains the same: the health and safety of our patients and staff, as well as providing you with a positive experience. We have been continuing to adapt to best follow the recommendations from New York State, the CDC and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). We are keeping monitoring global developments related to the COVID-19. If it is under well controlled, we will update our policy.
All Fertility Services Have Resumed:
We will continue to screen all patients for exposure and risk factors for COVID-19. Patients who fail screening will not be seen in our facilities. If a patient becomes quarantined or sick from COVID-19, their treatment will be cancelled.
We are using no-contact temperature screening and questionnaire. When you arrive at our offices, if you have a fever or could not pass the questionnaire, we will ask you to leave and contact your primary care provider for further guidance.
Patients will need to come to our offices unaccompanied. For all types of visits, including monitoring, ultrasounds, IUIs, retrievals, and transfers, please follow the appointment schedule. Spouses/Partners may wait outside or the specific area and will be notified that the appointment is over. If the patients come earlier than the appointment time, patients may wait outside.
Legacy IVF will continue to structure monitoring and waiting rooms to provide appropriate physical and time distance according to CDC guidance.
We strongly encourage patients to wear a mask when they are in public. We also attached a “Patient Education Sheet”, please download.
We Are Open Online Too:
To continue to serve our patients, we are also scheduling Online Consultation and Telemedicine appointments, for both New Patients and Follow-up’s. If there is an essential needs, and you must be seen in-person, our dedicated nursing team will be in touch with you directly to guide you to the appropriate office.

Our Laboratory Is Running:
The laboratory is providing limited service for the emergency procedures according to the doctors’ orders during this specific period.
All the patients don’t have to worry about the cryopreserved specimen in our laboratory. Our lab is a duly licensed long-term tissue bank and storage facility in the state of New York. Our cryopreserved storage is being monitored by both online alert and manual daily check.
